The power to manipulate light.
User can create, shape and manipulate visible light, commonly referred to simply as light, is electromagnetic radiation that has a wide variety of spectrums such as being visible to the human eye, and is responsible for the sense of sight.
Primary properties of visible light are intensity, propagation direction, frequency or wavelength spectrum, and polarization, while its speed in a vacuum (299,792,458 meters per second/186,000 MPS) is one of the fundamental constants of nature. Visible light, as with all types of electromagnetic radiation (EMR), is experimentally found to always move at this speed in vacuum.
- As Electromagnetic force, it has an association from an interconnected yet separate link between Electricity Manipulation and Magnetism Manipulation.
In common with all types of EMR, visible light is emitted and absorbed in tiny "packets" called photons, and exhibits properties of both waves and particles. This property is referred to as the wave–particle duality. The study of light, known as optics, is an important research area in modern physics.
For speed of light in vacuum (c), equal to 299,792,458 meters per second or 186,282 miles per second. In the real world this is only applicable to actual lasers/maser based technology and is typically invisible to the naked eye without some sort of computer-assistance. Due to physics, the attempt to move at the speed of light say, within the atmosphere of the Earth, would cause irreparable environmental and atmospheric catastrophes; firestorms, hurricane like forces, sheering the Earth's crust, etc... (in fiction however this is rarely ever a problem and such shouldn't be used as an argument against a character supposedly moving at the speed of light). According to relativity, nothing with mass can reach the speed of light (Although it has Energy & Momentum).
Variations[]
Light would be closely related to Electromagnetic Radiation, and it comes in various spectrums:
- Radio Waves (used to broadcast radios and television stations)
- Microwaves (used in microwave ovens to cook, used by telephones, radar and other signals)
- Infrared (transmit heat from sun, fires, radiators or significant heat sources)
- Visible Light (makes things able to be seen in various colors)
- Ultraviolet (Absorbed by skin, used in fluorescent tubes)
- X-Rays (Used to see through matter that is not Led)
- Gamma Rays (Used to kill cancer cells or highly radioactive isotopic material based mechanics)

- Light Solidification via controlling light.
- Photokinetic Constructs, including weapons, armor, walls or allies/servants.
- Move at light-speed (usually when having no mass).
- Manipulate Colors
- Produce Holographic Displays by bending light, or from a device.
Limitations[]
- May be unable to create light, being limited to manipulating only from already existing sources.
- Distance, energy mass, precision, etc. depend upon of the knowledge, skill, and strength of the user.
- Users light is affected by everything that all light is, unless they are powerful/skilled enough to overcome these limits:
- Glass Manipulation and/or Reflection Manipulation bounces back by a reflective surface.
- Gravity Manipulation bends light as a result of the gravitational lensing effect in General Relativity.
- No matter how powerful the light is it will pass through anything completely transparent (unless it is a laser cutter).
- May be overwhelmed by Darkness Manipulation.
- Photokinetic Immunity
- Since light is a constant existing element, the user will have to keep any light constructs in check to keep them from going on forever.
